Lev Cooper

From a Cabin With No Running Water to the Boardroom

I'm Lev Cooper — the youngest of four kids, born in a cabin in the mountains outside Republic, Washington. My dad built that cabin himself with a chainsaw, a hatchet, and a hammer. No running water, no electricity, no indoor plumbing. We hauled water in jugs, heated with a wood stove, and used an outhouse. My parents were hippies who chose that life, and it gave me the kind of grit no business school can teach.

I battled severe asthma growing up, earned a scholarship to the American Hebrew Academy, studied diesel mechanics at WyoTech, and fought wildland fires. In December 2010, I flew to Williston, North Dakota for a $10-an-hour oilfield job at Sun Well Services as a diesel mechanic. I worked my way up, acquired Dynamic Well Service by 30, bought out my partner by 35, and built a real estate portfolio alongside my wife Molly managing over $10 million.

On January 24, 2025, I surrendered my life to Jesus at a Men's Encounter — and everything changed. Today my kingdom order is God first, wife and children, then business. I'm based in Williston with Molly and our six kids — Breann, Christopher, Jaron, Eric, Lathan, and Alette. We're not just building businesses — we're building a legacy rooted in faith.

How I Got Here

Every chapter shaped who I am today. Here are some of the milestones along the way.

Grew Up Off the Grid

Born in a cabin in the mountains outside Republic, Washington — built by my dad with a chainsaw, hatchet, and hammer. No running water, electricity, or indoor plumbing. Youngest of four kids, raised with grit and resourcefulness.

Started in the Oilfield

Flew to Williston, North Dakota in December 2010 for a $10/hr job at Sun Well Services as a diesel mechanic. Long days, tough conditions, and the foundation for everything that followed.

Acquired Dynamic Well Service

Acquired DWS by age 30 and bought out my partner by 35, building it into a premier oilfield services company in the Bakken region — "The Best in the Bakken."

Launched Cooper Capital Investments

Expanded into real estate investing with the goal of building generational wealth through strategic property acquisition and development.

Surrendered to Jesus

On January 24, 2025, at a Men's Encounter, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. That moment reordered everything — God first, wife and children, then business. Faith became the foundation for it all.

Wrote Two Books

Family First

The Cooper Family

Everything I do is for my family. My wife Molly is my rock, my partner, and my biggest supporter — together we manage a real estate portfolio and raise six incredible kids: Breann, Christopher, Jaron, Eric, Lathan, and Alette. We're building a life in Williston rooted in faith, hard work, and the belief that God has a purpose for every family willing to pursue it.

Core Values

Relentless Work Ethic

There are no shortcuts. Show up early, stay late, and outwork everyone in the room. That's how you build something real.

Family & Community

Success means nothing if you don't have the people you love alongside you. Family and community are at the center of everything I do.

Generational Wealth

I'm not just building for today — I'm building for my children and their children. Real wealth compounds over generations.
